Getting married probably isn't something you organise very often. Here are the answers to some of the questions we're asked most.

We hate being photographed. Is that going to be a problem?
No. You don't need to know what to do in front of the camera.
If you need direction, we'll give it. We'll tell you where to stand, where to look and what to do. When you don't need us, we'll leave you alone.
That's our job, not yours.
Do we need an engagement shoot?
No. You don't need any practice before your wedding.
We've photographed hundreds of people who weren't comfortable in front of a camera. You don't need a practice run to learn what to do. Helping you on the wedding day is part of our job.
How many photographs will we get?
It depends on how long we're with you and what happens during your wedding.
We don't work to a fixed number or stop because we've reached a quota. You'll receive your edited photographs from the time we're with you, with duplicates, test shots and photographs that simply don't work removed.
When will we get our photographs?
Within 14 days. Guaranteed.
Your finished photographs will be delivered in your online gallery within 14 days of your wedding.
Do you charge extra for travel?
Anywhere within 90 minutes of Chesterfield is included.
If your wedding is further away or requires an overnight stay, we'll let you know about any additional travel costs before you book.
Can we meet you before we book?
Yes. We're happy to talk by phone or video call before you book, and if you're local we can arrange to meet in person.
If you'd rather just book without a meeting, that's fine too.
What happens if it rains?
We photograph weddings in the UK. Rain happens.
We'll work with the weather, your venue and whatever opportunities we have on the day. If there's a break in the weather we'll make use of it, and if there isn't, we'll find another way to make the photographs.
Can our family and guests access the gallery too?
Yes. You can share your online gallery with family and friends, and they can view and download the photographs themselves.
You have unlimited downloads and full print rights, and your photographs won't have watermarks.
Are you insured?
Yes. We have public liability insurance.
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes. Albums, prints and other products are available after your wedding.
You don't need to decide whether you want any of them when you book your photography.
Will it actually be Sam and Andy photographing our wedding?
For weddings of five hours or more, yes. You'll get both Sam and Andy.
For our one and two hour photography options, you'll have either Sam or Andy.
How much photography do we need?
There isn't one answer that works for every wedding.
Tell us what you've planned and which parts of the day you'd like photographed, and we'll help you work it out.
You can book Sam and Andy from five hours and add additional hours to suit your wedding.
Can we give you a list of photographs we want?
Absolutely. If there are particular people, groups or photographs that matter to you, tell us.
We'll make sure we know what's important to you while still leaving plenty of room for everything that couldn't have been planned.
