Venus are Andy & Samantha, we’re a double act. We are wedding photographers specialising in natural wedding photography throughout Nottinghamshire and the UK.
Why Venus? Well, Venus is the Roman Goddess of LOVE. We love photography and we love people, so it’s no surprise that we absolutely love photographing weddings!
What we really, really love is capturing real moments, filled with life and emotion. We love keeping everything natural and relaxed. Yes, Venus loves keeping it real!

Why two photographers?
We are not traditional wedding photographers. We specialise in natural wedding photography, not staged, not posed, almost entirely candid.
No matter how skilled and experienced a wedding photographer is, one can not capture as many real moments as two working independently of each other.
We literally can be in two places at once. No unfathomable quantum physics required, it’s because there are two of us!
Multiple views of your day, different perspectives, multiple angles, real reactions to real moments…. the list of reasons is almost endless.

Our wedding photography draws brides and grooms from all over the country, not just Nottinghamshire residents. We always meet local clients in person, but we are more than happy to “virtually” meet with clients that live further afield.

We love photographing Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire weddings and are drawn to the unique venues of these two historic counties. The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club, Chatsworth House (yes, that’s our photo!), Osmaston Park, Stoke Rochford Hall, and East Lodge Country House Hotel are some of our favourite wedding venues we photographed at. We also regularly cover weddings at Aston Hall Hotel, Hodsock Priory, Ye Olde Bell Barnby Moor, West Retford Hotel, The Crown Hotel Bawtry, Clumber Park Hotel, Mount Pleasant Hotel, Worksop Town Hall, Retford Town Hall and numerous other venues in the greater North Nottinghamshire area.
